Vitia Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil
Industrial Applications
Vitia Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil is a natural oil extracted from the seeds of wine grapes. It is widely used in the cosmetic and personal care industry for its emollient and moisturizing properties. Additionally, it serves as a raw material in the formulation of soaps, lotions, creams, hair care products, and as a carrier oil for essential oils and active ingredients. Kosher and halal grades are processed and certified to meet specific dietary and regulatory requirements, making them suitable for use in compliant food and personal care formulations.
Physical Properties
Vitia Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil is a light yellow to greenish liquid with a mild, nutty odor. It is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and oils. The oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid, and contains antioxidants like vitamin E. It has a low viscosity, good spreadability, and is chemically stable under normal storage conditions but can oxidize if exposed to light or heat for extended periods.
