Industrial Applications
Tridecyl Alcohol Ethoxylates are used in detergents, emulsifiers, dispersants, textile processing aids, agrochemical formulations, oilfield chemicals, and hard-surface cleaners due to their ability to lower surface tension and improve cleaning efficiency. They provide excellent wetting, emulsifying, and detergent properties, along with good stability in acidic, alkaline, and high-salt environments.
Physical Properties
Tridecyl Alcohol Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants produced by the ethoxylation of tridecyl alcohol, typically yielding a range of ethoxylation degrees that influence solubility and performance. They are usually clear to slightly hazy liquids or pastes with mild odor, a molecular weight that varies with the ethylene oxide chain length, and good solubility in water and many organic solvents.
