Sucralose
Industrial Applications
Sucralose is widely used as a zero-calorie artificial sweetener in a variety of products. Its heat stability makes it ideal for baked goods, and it is also commonly incorporated into soft drinks, sauces, and pharmaceutical formulations to provide sweetness without adding calories.
Physical Properties
Sucralose is a white, crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water. It is chemically stable under heat and across a wide range of pH levels, which makes it suitable for diverse food and beverage applications. Sucralose is intensely sweet, approximately 600 times sweeter than sucrose, allowing for use in very small quantities.
