p-Toluidine is an aromatic amine widely used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of dyes, pigments, rubber chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and agrochemicals. Physical Properties
p-Toluidine is an aromatic amine consisting of a methyl group attached to the para position of aniline. It appears as a pale yellow to amber liquid or crystalline solid with a characteristic amine odor. It is moderately soluble in water and highly soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.
