Oleyl Methyl Ammonium Chloride 2 EO appears as a clear to pale yellow viscous liquid with a mild amine-like odor. It is soluble in water and alcohols and features a long-chain unsaturated C18 hydrocarbon tail (oleyl group) combined with two ethylene oxide (EO) units and a quaternized nitrogen, giving it both cationic activity and moderate hydrophilicity.
