Lauryl Alcohol is a saturated fatty alcohol widely used in the personal care and cosmetics industry as an emulsifier, thickening agent, and surfactant intermediate. It is commonly found in shampoos, soaps, lotions, and other skin and hair care products, providing texture, foaming, and conditioning properties. Industrially, Lauryl Alcohol is also used as a precursor in the production of detergents, lubricants, plasticizers, and as a processing aid in textiles and leather treatments.
