Industrial Applications
Glycol Ether PMA is widely used as a solvent in inks, coatings, and cleaning formulations. Its excellent solvency for acrylic, nitrocellulose, and urethane resins makes it valuable in high-performance coatings and printing applications. Its moderate evaporation rate allows for controlled drying in industrial processes, and its low toxicity makes it suitable for both commercial and industrial use.
Physical Properties
Glycol Ether PMA is a colorless liquid with a characteristic ester-like odor. It is moderately evaporating, chemically stable under normal conditions, and exhibits excellent solvency for both polar and non-polar resins. The compound is a P-type glycol ether, low in toxicity, and compatible with a wide range of coating and ink formulations.
