Glycol Ether EM
Industrial Applications
Glycol Ether EM is a high-solvency solvent widely used in coatings, inks, cleaners, and other industrial applications. Its water miscibility and strong solvency make it effective for waterborne resins, paints, and cleaning formulations. Glycol Ether EM is also used as a coalescing agent and coupling solvent, helping to improve film formation, surface smoothness, and overall product performance.
Physical Properties
Glycol Ether EM is a clear, colorless liquid with a mild, characteristic ether-like odor. It is water-miscible, has a relatively high boiling point, and belongs to the E-class glycol ethers. It is chemically stable under normal conditions but toxic at high exposure concentrations. Its high solvency and coalescing properties make it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
