Cobalt Chloride Crystal is widely used as a humidity indicator in weather instruments. It also finds applications in electroplating and foam stabilization processes, and acts as a catalyst in Grignard reactions in organic synthesis.

Cobalt Chloride Crystal is an inorganic compound that appears as a deep blue to purple crystalline solid in its anhydrous form and pink when hydrated. It is highly soluble in water and polar solvents, and exhibits hygroscopic behavior. Its color-changing properties under varying humidity make it suitable for analytical and industrial uses.
