Avocado Oil
Industrial Applications
Avocado Oil is a natural oil extracted from the pulp of avocado fruit (Persea americana). In cosmetics and personal care, it is highly valued for its rich content of monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamins A, D, and E, and phytosterols. It is commonly used in moisturizers, facial creams, body lotions, hair conditioners, lip balms, and anti-aging formulations. Avocado Oil helps improve skin hydration, elasticity, and barrier function while soothing dry or irritated skin. Its stability and nourishing properties also make it an excellent carrier oil for essential oils and active ingredients in personal care products. Additionally, Avocado Oil is available in Organic, Kosher, Halal, Food, and Cosmetic grades, making it suitable for diverse applications. The Organic grade supports natural and eco-conscious formulations, while Kosher and Halal grades ensure compliance with dietary and cultural standards.
Physical Properties
Avocado Oil is a greenish-yellow, viscous liquid at room temperature with a mild, nutty odor. It is insoluble in water but readily soluble in organic solvents and oils. The oil is chemically stable under normal conditions but can oxidize over prolonged exposure to light and heat. It is emollient, easily absorbed, non-greasy, and suitable for topical application in a wide range of cosmetic products.
