DCP 25 Chlorinated Flame Retardant contains 25% chlorine by weight and is used to enhance fire resistance in a wide range of materials. This non-reactive additive is commonly incorporated into wires, cables, adhesives, sealants, textiles, thermoplastics, and rubber compounds. It provides reliable flame retardancy while maintaining the physical and mechanical properties of the base materials.
Physical Properties
DCP 25 typically appears as a clear to pale yellow viscous liquid with moderate chlorine content and good thermal stability. It is insoluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents, offering excellent compatibility with resins and polymers. Its non-volatile nature and thermal resistance make it suitable for use in both flexible and rigid formulations.
