Palm Amine
Palm Amine is a long-chain primary aliphatic amine derived from palm oil fatty acids, typically consisting of C16 (palmitic) and C18 (stearic and oleic) carbon chains. It usually appears as a pale yellow to amber waxy solid and has a mild fatty or amine-like odor. Palm Amine is insoluble in water but soluble in alcohols, hydrocarbons, and other organic solvents. In industrial applications, it is widely used as a surfactant, emulsifier, corrosion inhibitor, flotation agent, and intermediate in the manufacture of quaternary ammonium compounds and amine oxides. Its renewable, plant-based origin makes it especially desirable in environmentally conscious formulations across the chemical, agricultural, and personal care industries.
