Industrial Applications
Decyl Glucoside is a plant-derived, non-ionic surfactant widely used in personal care and cosmetic industries. It serves as a foaming and cleansing agent in shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, and other hygiene products. Its mild nature and biodegradability make it suitable for eco-friendly formulations, as well as in industrial cleaning products where gentle but effective surfactancy is required.
Physical Properties
Decyl Glucoside is a pale yellow, viscous liquid. It is water-soluble, biodegradable, and chemically stable over a wide pH range. It has low irritation potential, is non-toxic, and has good foaming and emulsifying capabilities, making it ideal for mild cleansing applications in both cosmetic and industrial formulations.
