Industrial Applications
Decanamide is valued in industry for its lubricating, thickening, and anti-static properties, and is commonly used as a slip agent and anti-block additive in plastics, as well as a processing aid in rubber manufacturing. It is also utilized in surfactant formulations, cosmetics, and personal care products as a conditioning or emulsifying agent due to its hydrophobic tail and amide functionality.
