3-Methyl Amino Propyl Amine
3-Methyl Amino Propyl Amine appears as a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid with a characteristic amine odor. It is miscible with water and many organic solvents. The molecule contains both a primary amine and a secondary methyl-substituted amine, giving it useful reactivity for cross-linking and functionalization. In industry, 3-Methyl Amino Propyl Amine is used as a curing agent for epoxy resins, in the production of surfactants, as an intermediate in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals, and as a corrosion inhibitor in oilfield and water treatment formulations.
