Di(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl) Peroxide
Industrial Application
Di(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl) Peroxide is widely used as a radical initiator and polymerization catalyst for vinyl and acrylic monomers, as well as a curing agent in polyester resins and rubber cross-linking. Due to its oxidizing nature, it must be handled with care and stored under controlled conditions to prevent hazardous decomposition.
Physical Properties
Di(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl) Peroxide is an organic peroxide compound, appearing as a white to off-white crystalline powder or paste with low solubility in water but good solubility in organic solvents such as chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters.
