Copper Carbonate is primarily used in agriculture, pigments, and chemical manufacturing. In agriculture, it serves as a micronutrient supplement, providing essential copper to plants. Physical Properties
Copper Carbonate is a green, crystalline solid that is odorless. It is insoluble in water but reacts with acids to release carbon dioxide and form copper salts. The compound is thermally unstable and decomposes when heated, forming copper(II) oxide and carbon dioxide. Copper Carbonate has a monoclinic crystal structure and is stable under normal storage conditions, but it should be kept dry to prevent decomposition or reaction with moisture.
