Physical Properties
Distilled Fatty Acid is a purified mixture of long-chain carboxylic acids typically derived from natural fats and oils through distillation, primarily containing saturated and unsaturated fatty acids such as palmitic, stearic, oleic, and linoleic acids. It usually appears as a pale yellow to amber viscous liquid or semi-solid waxy material at room temperature, with a characteristic fatty odor. Distilled fatty acids are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents and oils.
