Climbazole
Industrial Applications
Climbazole is an antifungal agent widely used in personal care products, particularly shampoos and scalp treatments, to control dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi responsible for these conditions and is valued for its mildness, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Climbazole is also incorporated into body washes and creams to help soothe irritation caused by fungal infections.
Physical Properties
Climbazole is typically a white to off-white crystalline powder with low solubility in water but good solubility in oils and organic solvents. It is chemically stable under standard storage conditions and compatible with a variety of cosmetic formulations.
