Castor Oil Ethoxylates

Castor Oil Ethoxylates are nonionic surfactants produced by reacting castor oil (rich in ricinoleic acid) with ethylene oxide, yielding a range of products varying in ethoxylation degree. They typically appear as pale yellow to amber viscous liquids or soft pastes, are soluble or dispersible in water depending on ethoxylation level, and have good emulsifying, dispersing, and solubilizing properties. In industry, they are widely used as emulsifiers in textiles, agrochemicals, lubricants, metalworking fluids, personal care formulations, and as wetting agents in paints and coatings. Their stability over a wide pH range and compatibility with other surfactants make them highly versatile.
