Physical Properties
Undistilled Fatty Acid is a mixture of naturally derived fatty acids obtained from animal fats or vegetable oils that have not undergone fractional distillation to separate individual components. It typically appears as a yellow to brown viscous liquid or semi-solid at room temperature, with a characteristic fatty odor and variable composition including saturated and unsaturated acids (commonly C12-C18). It is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols and hydrocarbons.
