Physical Properties
2-Methyl Cyclohexanol is a saturated secondary alcohol consisting of a cyclohexane ring substituted with a methyl group at the 2-position and a hydroxyl group. It typically appears as a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a mild, characteristic odor. The compound is moderately soluble in water but highly soluble in most organic solvents. 2-Methyl Cyclohexanol exists as cis and trans isomers, each with slightly different physical properties and odors.
